Only a necklace needed! Helena Christensen poses in stunning topless photo shoot donning just jewellery to launch model search

She has been striking a pose as a model for over 20 years and is no stranger to stripping off. 

And Helena Christensen has proved she is still one of the hottest models around posing topless in a stunning shoot. 

The model, 42, defies her years as she stares into the camera with her startling clear eyes. 

Helena is seen face on but covers her modest with her arms showing off her trim and toned body.

Her hair has been tousled into large wild waves which fall about her face and the only thing she is wearing is a statement Swarovski necklace. 

And given her experience and talent in the modelling world Helena is now on the hunt of a new face as part of a talent search. 

The Danish model, who shot to fame in 1986 after winning a national beauty pageant, has teamed up with Unsigned Model Scouts and Swarovski Crystallized to find one female and one male who will star in a national campaign. 

And the winning pair will also have the chance to be shot by Helena herself, who has successfully turned her hand to being behind the camera as well as in front of it.

Helena will be working with Unsigned Model Scout Cesar Perin to hunt for the new face in London on Friday and Saturday.

Speaking about the task in hand Helena said: ‘Cesar Perin has an incredible eye, I have shot several of his models and we’ve been friends for years. When this opportunity arose to work with him I thought it sounded really interesting, a genuine way to unearth new models – it is totally open. I’m proud to be a part of Unsigned and cannot wait to shoot some of our new faces.’

While the search in London will take place later this week other budding candidates have already been selected from seventeen cities including Liverpool, Belfast, Cardiff, Glasgow and Manchester.

Helena’s career certainly isn’t slowing down anytime soon and in July the model was unveiled as the face of Triumph underwear’s latest lingerie campaign.

And despite her flawless figure the model has also admitted that she still suffers from the same body hang ups as other women. 

'It's not like [I] wake up in the morning going, "Oh I'm so perfect, I don't need to do anything",’ she said.

'Every [model] I know in this business has the same issues as every other woman, maybe more so. You can easily be made to feel self-conscious in this job.

'It's really intimidating to go on the beach in a bikini. If someone is painting neon circles around parts of your body, like those pathetic tabloid magazines.' She told the Telegraph.

The 12 finalists of the model search, selected by Helena and a panel of industry experts will be announced during Vogue Fashion's Night Out on 8th September.
